I’ve never been much of a cat lover. I don’t like the way they feel they can go anywhere they like, and do their business anywhere they like! I recently decided to put a stop this problem in my garden, and here’s how I did it.
Firstly, I blocked my boundary gaps with prickly plants and prunings like holly. I then fitted a wire of between 10-15cm above the top of my garden fences to make it difficult for cats to balance on them. I also sprayed my garden with cat repellent—yes it does exist and it works a treat! The final thing I did was place fulfill plastic bottles in borders. Apparently the light reflection off the bottle deters them.
Okay so it hasn’t stopped all cats entering my garden, but there’s only a few who bother me now instead of 20!
