With the season change, there has never been a better time to make use out of all of those fallen leafs in your garden. Autumn is a beautiful season, with the change in colours and the leafs beginning to fall from the trees. Although the Autumn fallen leafs can look beautiful, leaving them on top of your grass or garden paving over a long period of time will likely damage the surface they are on.
Leafs can cause grass to become suffocated, causing it to die over time. They can also cause discolouration to paving slabs if they are left too long without being cleared away.
A composter is a great way to make use of these old leafs and put the compost to good use come spring time. Keep on top of your garden by raking up the leafs on a regular basis and placing them straight into your composter.
